CASTLE HLUBOKA

On this site in the 13th century a gothic castle was first built by the Czech King Přemysl Otakar II. Several other changes and expansions followed until finally in the 19th century the present outer design was ordered to emulate the romantic style of Windsor Castle in England.  All together, we enjoy today a fascinating history of seven centuries of castle design and elegant Tudor interiors.
